Selecting and adding assets to a symphony

In this article, you'll learn how to select assets and add them to your symphony using Composer's ticker search and screener.

Ticker search

You can search for stocks or ETFs using the ticker. Composer currently supports securities on the following exchanges: NYSE, NASDAQ, OTCBB, OOTC, PINX.

Screener

The screener lets you screen for stocks or ETFs that meet one or more criteria.

Currently, you can screen by:

• Market Cap. Market capitalization is the share price multiplied by the number of shares held by all of its shareholders.
• Volume of trades during the most recent trading day on the exchange the security is on.
• P/E Ratio. The price-to-earnings ratio compares the current share price to a company’s per-share earnings.
• P/B Ratio. The price-to-book ratio compares the current share price to a company’s per-share book value.
