How many brokerage accounts can an individual have?
Composer offers three types of brokerage accounts for individuals:
- Individual Accounts
- Traditional Individual Retirement Accounts (Traditional IRAs)
- Roth Individual Retirement Accounts (Roth IRAs)
Individuals can open one of each brokerage account type within their Composer account.

Do I need a Trading Pass for each brokerage account?
No, individuals only need one Trading Pass. With one Trading Pass, an individual can open any combination of brokerage accounts they wish.
Does the Trading Pass cost more if I open multiple brokerage account?
No, the Trading Pass is a flat fee, regardless of how many brokerage accounts an individual opens.
Example:
Jane purchases a Trading Pass and opens an Individual Account, a Traditional IRA, and a Roth IRA. John purchases a Trading Pass and only opens an Individual Account. Both Jane and John pay the same flat fee for their Trading Pass.
