How can I link my bank account?

Composer allows you to link your bank account via Plaid. To do so:

  1. Login to your Composer account
  2. Select your profile in the top right corner
  3. Select Accounts & Funding
  4. On the left, select Funding & Withdrawals
  5. Select Link bank account

Do I need to link my bank account?

Yes, you need to link your bank account to pay for your Trading Pass subscription.

Can I link multiple bank accounts?

Unfortunately, at this time, Composer does not allow multiple bank account links.

What if I no longer have access to my bank account?

Our clearing firms require funds to be withdrawn to the bank account they were deposited from. If you no longer have access to this bank account, please contact us at help@composer.trade for next steps.

After I deposit, how long does it take for funds to arrive in my account?

Once you initiate a deposit, funds usually take one business day to show up in your account. This can be longer or shorter depending on a number of factors. If you have any questions regarding fund deposits in your account please contact us at help@composer.trade.

What bank accounts can I link to?

Composer allows you to link to any bank that you can connect to via Plaid, with the exception of Chime and GO2Bank.

Is Plaid secure?

Plaid is an intermediary service that connects your financial accounts to share financial information (account balance, account numbers, account transactions, etc.) with Composer. Plaid does this by using encrypted, protected tokens to shield your actual account information. Is my money secure? Composer Securities LLC is a Broker-Dealer registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Our clearing firms, Alpaca and Apex, are members of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). Securities in your account are protected up to $500,000. For details, please see www.sipc.org.

Can I make recurring deposits from my bank account?

Unfortunately, at this time, Composer does not support recurring deposits.
