What order type does Composer use to make trades?
When you invest in a symphony, Composer will automatically execute trades on your behalf based on the symphony's logic. Composer places all trades as market orders in your linked brokerage.
A market order is an order to buy or sell a security at the current market price. Market orders are typically filled right away.
Market orders do not guarantee a fill price. The fill price is dependant on the liquidity currently available at each price level. As a result, market orders may get filled at unexpected prices because of short-term changes in price.
