Why is my cash balance different from my withdrawable cash balance?

Your cash balance may differ from your withdrawable cash balance due to unsettled funds.

Understanding unsettled funds

Unsettled funds are any funds in your account that are still being processed. These funds could be from a deposit via ACH transfer, sold stock, etc.

While unsettled funds add to your cash balance, they do not add to your withdrawable cash balance until they settle.

When will my unsettled funds settle and be available to withdraw?

Deposits via ACH Transfer:

After a deposit begins processing, our clearing firm places a 6-business day hold to settle funds.

For example: If you deposit on Saturday via ACH transfer, the deposit would not begin processing until Monday, and the 6-business day hold would begin on Tuesday. Meaning the funds will settle on the following Tuesday, assuming there are no holidays.
