What tax documents will I receive?
If you had a taxable event during the calendar year, you will receive a consolidated 1099 Form tax document from the clearing firm, Apex or Alpaca, where your account is held.
NOTE: Tax documents will not be provided if you did not sell any securities during the tax year, or the proceeds from your dividends did not exceed $10.
When will my tax documents be ready?
You will receive an email from the clearing firm when your 1099 forms are ready. Please note that tax forms for the previous calendar year will be made available in February of the current year.
Where do I access my tax documents?
You can view your documents on the web by:
- Select your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select Accounts & Funding
- Select Documents
For yearly tax documents, you'll receive a consolidated 1099 form via email.
